Notebook: Ron Heddendorf’s Vintage Racing Photos
Ron Heddendorf has launched a new web site with a nice collection of his favorite vintage racing photos. There are Midgets, Sprint cars, Indy cars, and even NASCAR Speedway cars from the 30’s through the 90’s.

Ron says that he has taken many of the photos himself, and that he plans to add more in the future. If you enjoy seeing race cars from the rough and tough days of racing, you should definitely take a few minutes to visit Ron’s site.
By the way, the thumbnail for this web log entry is a small part of a photo on Ron’s home page captioned “Tommy Hinnershitz, Outboard #45, Old Yellow Jacket Speedway, Philadelphia, PA”.

I have not been able to access the photos and I was hoping to find a couple of photos that Ron has of the Ken Brenn Midget Pusher. That car is currently on display at America On Wheels, and as a museum docent I am trying to track down more information to impart to the guests I take through the displays.
