Notebook: Authors Davidson, Shaffer To Discuss Indy 500 Book At State Library

Donald Davidson, Indianapolis Motor Speedway historian, and Rick Shaffer, longtime racing journalist, will discuss their new book, “Autocourse Official History of the Indianapolis 500,” from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. (ET) Saturday, Feb. 10 at the State Library (History Reference Room, 2nd floor), 140 N. Senate Ave. in downtown Indianapolis.
A book signing will follow the presentation for attendees who have previously purchased the book and for those who purchase a copy on site for $59.95 plus tax. The public is encouraged to pre-register for the event and can do so by e-mailing Ron Rose at rrose [at] statelib.lib.in.us.
