Notebook: GoDaddy’s Newest Service: Danica in your Inbox

GoDaddy has really ramped up their use of Danica Patrick in e-mail ads and their web site, etc. As a GoDaddy customer myself (since at least 2000 I believe), I receive numerous e-mails about GoDaddy products and services on a regular basis. I never actually used to open the majority of them, but suddenly that’s all changed.

If nothing else, it’s good that Danica is always referred to as “IndyCar Star Danica Patrick”. Whether or not you buy into the hype, GoDaddy has A LOT of customers and it gets the IndyCar name and brand out there to people who might not ever see it otherwise.
