Notebook: Autograph Session with Hornish, Castroneves

Penske Racing drivers Sam Hornish, Jr. and Helio Castroneves will sign autographs on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 beginning at 7:00pm. Sam will be at Penske Honda, and Helio will be at Penske Chevrolet. Both are located east of the intersection of 96th and Keystone right on the border of Indianapolis and Carmel.

I attended one of these autograph sessions a few years ago, and got my photo taken with Helio Castroneves and Gil De Ferran in addition to getting both of their autographs on some really nice promotional cards. There were Indy-winning Penske cars to look at while waiting in line. I was very impressed with how outgoing Helio was and how much he really went out of his way to make sure each fan got what they wanted, whether it was just an autograph or a photo, or whatever. Everyone really seemed to have a great time.
