Sam Hornish Jr. passed rookie Marco Andretti low on the frontstretch – about 300 yards from the yard of bricks – to win the 90th Indianapolis 500-Mile race by .0635 of a second. We FINALLY got a fantastic, sunny day for pole qualifying for the 90th running of the Indianapolis 500 last Saturday. To make it even more special, it coincided with Throwback Day at the Speedway which allowed fans to pay reduced prices for admission and refreshments and enjoy added attractions.
