SPEEDWAY, Ind. - Hot cars, hot woman and a ride in an F-16 fighter jet. P.J. Chesson could have died content before qualifying Saturday for his first Indianapolis 500.
As it is, the New Jersey native’s life is even fuller as he turns laps Sunday to prepare for next weekend’s annual May Classic. A former World of Outlaws sprint car driver, Chesson put his Carmelo Hemelgarn Racing entry into the field Saturday with a 221.576 four-lap average.
