Dave Calabro interviews Kenny Brack after he qualified 23rd for the race while setting the fastest qualifying time in the entire field. Jeff Ward’s car drowns out part of the interview as he leaves the qualification line. Recorded from the E Stand Penthouse.

Dave Calabro announces that there is a yellow flag for debris and cars can be heard slowing down. Recorded from the Pit Road Terrace near the entrance to Gasoline Alley.

Laura Steele interviews children at the track and they comment on their favorite drivers. At the end they run a clip of Tony Kanaan saying “Welcome to the Indianapolis 500″ and almost as if on queue, a car speeds away as the track goes back to green. Recorded from the Pit Road Terrace near the entrance to Gasoline Alley.
Gasoline Alley Intersection - Length: 01:25
A clip from what is perhaps the busiest intersection in motorsports - Gasoline Alley. Listen to the Safety Patrol direct traffic (both human and motorized) as cars can be heard out on the track. Recorded from just inside the gate to Gasoline Alley, facing North toward the Pagoda.
