Video: 1975 Winchester Speedway Sprint Cars by High Vista Video

High Vista Video has posted a very cool video clip of some 1975 sprint car action at Winchester Speedway. The clip is 3 minutes 24 seconds long and it’s a 29Mb download… broadband users only! (or very patient dial-up users I suppose)
High Vista Video also has dozens of videos for sale from tracks throughout the Midwest, all at the low price of just $10 each. You should definitely check them out.
Whenever I see stuff like this, it always reminds me that no matter how crappy you think your photos or videos, etc. might be in the days, weeks, and months after you attend an event, you should hang onto them because years from now they will become priceless.
Note the bridge in this second shot. I haven’t been to Winchester in a few years (don’t even get me started on that subject) but I don’t think that bridge is even there anymore. Keep in mind that the actual video will be a little more clear than these individual frames.

does this video not work? i’m looking for the Winchester 1975 video…i’ve got a feeling that my grandfather’s car will be in the video. I’m currently conducting research for a book on his car and feel that this video would be helpful. Thanks!

The video was never posted here, just a link to it on the High Vista Video site. It was there when I posted this in 2007 but I just looked at their site again now and couldn’t find it. You might try contacting them.
