Chad Reed won the final AMA Supercross event at the RCA Dome on a course he designed himself. In fact, it was the final live spectator event to be held at the RCA Dome ever. The dome will be demolished to make way for the expansion of the Indiana Convention Center, and future events will be held in Lucas Oil Stadium which is nearing completion and will open in time for the first Indianapolis Colts game in August 2008.
This was the first Supercross event for my son and me. We had a great time and I’m sure we’ll be back in the future. Promoters Live Nation and the AMA put on a great show. I’ll be posting a gallery of photos from the event when I get a chance.
