Northwest Vista is located on the outer northwest side of the track beginning at the entry to turn four and ending just past the apex of turn four. Northwest Vista is bordered on the east by North Vista, and on the south/west by J Stand.

According to a 2004 count conducted by Indianapolis Star reporter Curt Cavin, Northwest Vista has 17,352 seats, and the most deck seats (552) of any vista.

Northwest Vista sections start at section 20 on the north side next to North Vista and run through section 1 on the south/west side next to J Stand. Rows are A through RR. Northwest Vista also has a two-row upper deck, rows A and B.
