G Stand

G Stand is located on the outer southeast side of the track on the outside of turn two (USGP turn twelve). It starts at the entrance of the turn and ends just before the apex. G Stand is bordered on the west by the South Vista and on the east by the Southeast Vista. G Stand is split into two parts by the Gate 3 tunnel.

According to a 2004 count conducted by Indianapolis Star reporter Curt Cavin, G Stand has 3,662 seats.

G Stand sections start at section 76 on the west side next to the South Vista, run through section 81 next to the Gate 3 tunnel, start again at section 82 to the east of the Gate 3 tunnel and end at section 87 next to the Southeast Vista. Rows for all sections are A through U.

• Original G Stand built in 1915 in what is now Gasoline Alley.
• Renovated in 1946.
• History of G Stand in its current location is unknown.
