Though not yet announced by the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, it’s apparent that Stone Temple Pilots will headline the now-traditional Carb Day concert on May 23, 2008. The date was listed on Blabbermouth.net (sounds like a trustworthy source, right?) as part of the reunited Stone Temple Pilots 2008 tour. In addition, the hard rock band Chevelle announced during an interview on Indianapolis radio station X103 that they would perform at the Speedway on Fast Friday May 9. San Diego-based rock/piano rock band Augustana played the Coca-Cola stage on Pole Day for the 2007 Indianapolis 500.   read more »
