I haven’t yet been to Kamp Motor Speedway, which is located in Boswell, IN west of Lafayette near the Illinois state line. But I’ve heard that it’s turned into quite the race track since Bob and Gayle Kamp bought the place in 2002. Okay, so this really doesn’t have much to do with “Indiana Racing” until you consider that (work with me here) it happened in Indiana, WTHR-TV reporter Stephanie Soviar is a native Hoosier, reportedly likes racing, the course she was on appears to be an oval, and she is currently dating IRL IndyCar Series driver Jeff Simmons. Besides all that, it’s just pretty funny, especially when you consider it was on live TV. And fortunately, nobody was hurt.   read more »
