The Premier Racing Association (PRA) has announced that the Banjo Big Car 100 is back on the schedule and will be held at O’Reilly Raceway Park on September 14, 2007. Gates open at 5:00pm, practice starts at 5:30pm, and the race begins at 8:30pm. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for kids 11-15, and kids 10 and under are free. If you’re a fan of the traditional “big cars”, head on out to ORP on the 14th… and bring your friends!

The NHRA Mac Tools US Nationals at O’Reilly Raceway Park is quickly becoming my second most favorite event on the Indiana motorsports calendar. There is simply no other sport that can match the raw power and intensity of NHRA drag racing, and every one of the competitors speak about the event with the same kind of reverence the open-wheel ranks show to the Indianapolis 500.
