The Ballad of Jimmy Bryan is a tribute that was recorded by Harry Weger of Terre Haute, IN after Bryan’s death in a race at Langhorne Speedway in 1960. Side 2 of this 45rpm record has one of the coolest versions of Back Home Again in Indiana that I’ve heard (it makes me smile and want to sing “cha cha cha”… and I think I’m too young to even know why!). read more »

We’ll all miss seeing Jamie Little at Indy this year, but maybe it won’t be so bad. WIBC Sports Director and ABC/ESPN pit reporter Vince Welch announced that Brienne Pedigo has been hired as the third pit reporter on the ABC/ESPN broadcast team. Brienne is the daughter of former Panther Racing co-owner Gary Pedigo and previously served as a reporter for the Outdoor Channel’s 2006 USAC coverage. She is engaged to General Hospital star Tyler Christopher.
